How to Apply

STEPS TO APPLY

Thank you for your interest in Notre Dame High School.

Although the application deadline has passed, we will still be reviewing new applications pending enrollment availability.

1. Submit Application
Submit an online application and non-refundable $50 fee. This fee is waived for the children of alumni. Please contact the Admissions Office to obtain a waiver code. The link to the application is in the box to the right. You will be asked to set up an account. The username and password you choose will be used to log in to the Notre Dame website as well. 

2. Placement Testing
All freshman applicants are required to take a Placement Exam.  Once we receive your application, you will automatically be registered for the exam. You will receive confirmation of the receipt of your application via email. The Placement Test date will be announed at a later time.

3. Academic Records
Submit the Transcript Release Form (available to download at right) to applicant’s current school requesting a copy of their 7th grade final report card, a current 8th grade report card and a copy of the most recent standardized test results. 

4. Teacher Recommendations
All applicants are required to complete a Math recommendation and a general recommendation. Applicants who wish to be considered for Honors Placement in History and/or English must complete the appropriate recommendation. All of these can be downloaded from the column on the right. 

5. Applicant Interview
Spring applicant interview dates will be announced shortly.

6. Notification of Admission Decision
Decisions will be based upon the availability of space and upon the "fit" between the school and the applicant. Notre Dame High School welcomes applicants from a wide variety of backgrounds and does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, religion, national or ethnic origin in its admission or administrative policies

Notre Dame High School has a competitive Admissions Policy based upon:

  • Past performance (Grades, Teacher recommendation)
  • Present achievement (Entrance Examination)
  • Future potential (Interview)
  • Desire to contribute and be a part of the Notre Dame tradition.

Applicant Forms

Everyone must submit a Recommendation Form and a Mathematics Placement Form. Everyone must submit a Transcript Release Form to their current school.

Students wishing to enroll for Learning Needs or for Honors English or Honors World History must submit those forms as well.
