Today, the growth and vision of Notre Dame High School is stronger than ever. ND has matured into one of the top ranked college-prep high schools in the region and is recognized nationally for its Service-learning program. Every day, our students explore, overcome, achieve, surprise, and amaze with their talents and drive to excel.

Our ongoing work to prepare today’s students into tomorrow’s leaders could not be achieved without support from alumni, parents, parents of alumni, grandparents, faculty and staff, and our ND friends. We ask you, therefore, to join us in supporting Notre Dame. Your gift will demonstrate your personal support and will help pave the way for future development at Notre Dame. Your donation will directly impact the school’s 1,280 students.

The Annual Giving Campaign provides necessary financial support each year as ND depends on your generous gifts to assist in funding its operating budget. These gifts offset expenses that tuition alone does not cover and enhances our school community through tuition assistance, academic and co-curricular enrichment, technology expansion, facility and campus improvements, and much more. Your gift to ND ensures the success of our students each year. If your company has a matching gift program, please consider having your gift matched. To donate online, please click the Give Online link at the top of this page.

Join the President's Club
Leadership...Belief...Advancing the Mission
The President's Club is comprised of members of the Notre Dame High School community who support the Annual Giving Campaign with leadership gifts at a minimum level of $1,000. The belief of these individuals and organizations is that by contributing at this generous amount, they are advancing the mission of Notre Dame in a significant way by making a faith-filled investment in the high school experience of our 1,280 students.

President's Club members will receive an exclusive custom-made silk tie or sterling silver charm necklace embellished with our Notre Dame logos. These inaugural items are limited to President's Club members only. Membership will also include invitations to special events and member gatherings.

For more information regarding the Annual Giving Campaign or the President's Club, please contact Ann Brown, Director of Annual Giving, at 609-882-7900 x176 or brown@ndnj.org.

Matching Gifts
You can significantly increase the value of your annual gift to Notre Dame with a matching gift. Thousands of companies and corporations will match gifts to secondary schools. If your (or your spouse's) employer participates in a matching gift program, please include the matching gift form with your annual contribution. Your matching gift will double or, in some cases, triple your contribution to NDHS. Please contact your HR department or our Advancement Office for more information.

United Way

You can direct your United Way gift to Notre Dame through our designation as: Trenton Community Outreach and Services of Notre Dame High School. All gifts will benefit our nationally recognized Service-learning program.

Planned Giving

Notre Dame High School 1957 Society donors may make "the gift of a lifetime,” while at the same time gain significant tax advantages. Examples include: bequest by will (making a perpetual gift to ND), designating Notre Dame as a full or partial beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement plan, or establishing a charitable remainder trust, which allows immediate tax savings to the donor. Leave a legacy for the students of tomorrow. For more information regarding the 1957 Society, contact Todd Shellenberger, Vice President for Advancement, at 609-882-7900 x164 or 1957society@ndnj.org.

A Word from the Vice President for Advancement
Welcome ND Parents
9/1/2010

Dear Parents,

Welcome to another exciting school year, and a very special welcome to our parents new to ND. For eight years, in roles as teacher, varsity basketball coach, Annual Fund Director, and Director of Institutional Advancement, I referred to this place as my "second home." I am glad to be back. There was and always will be a special feeling when I walk the hallways here. Whether you are a student, parent, alumnus, or faculty member, there is no

better place than Notre Dame to feel that sense of excitement in such a caring and safe environment. This is a

special place, a second home for many. It is comprised of special people: Mentors to your children who care about them and who are passionate for their successes; Friendly adults who will help pick your child up if they stumble a bit.

Not only is Notre Dame “a great place to be a teenager,” but it is also a great place to be a parent. I invite you to be involved in the best fit capacity you believe will help advance our school and our students. Whether it is through volunteer opportunities, contributing to the Annual Giving Campaign, and/or your prayers for our school community and its future growth, it is important that we involve everybody connected to Notre Dame. It is imperative to have outstanding participation among our parents and alumni. We are all here for such a worthy ambition - your children, our students, their future. Along with President Barry Breen and Principal Mary Liz Ivins, I look forward to advancing our school's development and growth at such an opportune time. We are shaping ND not only for today, but for the next 50 years. Our newly structured Advancement Office will have a passionate commitment to strategically plan for ND's future. We will continue to work at keeping a healthy and vibrant enrollment. We will seek communication methods that best relay the vital messages and school materials to our constituents. We will request financial gifts to our Annual Giving Campaign and to periodic Capital Campaigns. I ask you to engage yourself within the advancement of our school. Attend the Harvest Moon Auction in November, which is 100% parent driven and comprised of parent leaders. Become a member of the inaugural President's Club to our Annual Giving Campaign (leadership gifts of $1,000 and up). Gather to network with other ND parents at the special Meet & Greet mornings and at the Coffee & Conversation days throughout the year.

Our mission is essential - first, we must continue to provide an outstanding academic experience through a faithfilled environment for each and every current ND student. Second, offer extensive co-curricular activities and a commitment to citizenship and service in the community. Thirdly, prepare and plan for future students and for the years to come.

Please join us as we move forward. Your support and enthusiasm is much needed.

Sincerely,

Todd Shellenberger
