Spirituality at Notre Dame High School Notre Dame provides many programs to help students grow in their faith and deepen their personal relationship with God. Instruction in the classroom and opportunities for reflection, worship and service each play an important role in the development of a spirituality that is part of everyday life. A wide variety of acitivities take place during the school day, after school and on weekends.
Service Learning Notre Dame High School is a National Service-learning Leader School. Notre Dame's Service-learning Program is a commitment to a lifetime of giving to the local and global community. Service to others is expected and required. Students involve themselves in projects such as preparing and serving daily lunches to the homeless, caring for the elderly, sponsoring a summer camp for children living in Route 1 shelters, and working with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, American Red Cross and NJ Special Olympics Programs. The opportunities are endless. Service at Notre Dame is a way of life, a cornerstone of the educational experience.
Service to the Community is part of the mission of Notre Dame High School. The Service-learning program inspires students to follow the example of Jesus and reflect on their experiences so they lead to life-long service commitments.

| | Service Prayer
This prayer, or another one of your choice, may be prayed before your service work.
Jesus,
You came among us to teach, heal and comfort those in need. Help me to follow You as I perform this service for others. Give me a generous heart and a willing spirit like yours. Strengthen and guide me through any challenges I may experience. Surprise me with all I will receive as I reach out to serve my sisters and brothers in your Name.
Amen.
