Mission & Mercy Core Values

ND Mission

Notre Dame High School, a ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Trenton, is a dynamic, diverse Catholic community dedicated to educating young women and men to realize their full potential through a faith-filled environment, a challenging college-preparatory program, extensive co-curricular activities and a commitment to citizenship and service in the community.

Notre Dame is one of the preeminent Catholic schools in the United States.

Bishop David M. O’Connell, Diocese of Trenton

A Notre Dame education is built upon the Mercy Core Values:

We reverence the dignity of all persons and all life as gifts of God and strive to promote community in our world.

We believe that fidelity to moral principles, honesty and sincerity are the basis of trustworthiness in all encounters.

We work for unity, equality and righteousness, by standing up for what is true and just even when it is not easy.

We embrace the joys and sorrows of others to whom and with whom we minister and are moved to action in solidarity with the human community.

Our love is manifest in action as we help, support, encourage and share with one another through acts of kindness and generosity.
