Exciting Announcement: Educational Partnership Between Holy Family University and Notre Dame High School!

We are thrilled to announce Notre Dame’s College of School Counseling's fourth Educational Partnership Agreement (EPA) with Holy Family University (HFU)! This collaboration embodies our shared dedication to motivating and equipping students throughout their educational paths, underpinned by the principles of Jesus Christ.

Holy Family University is ranked in the Top 10 by University HQ for the Best Bachelor's Degree in Pennsylvania. Holy Family has also remained the financially healthiest college in the Philadelphia region by staying competitive. Holy Family has added some academic programs, including cybersecurity, and revamped its business major. The college plans to build an innovation and entrepreneurship center at its Newtown West site. They also started six new athletic programs in the last five years, including flag football for women, men's lacrosse, baseball, and women's bowling. Its number of student-athletes has grown from 175 to 375 this year.

Highlights of the Agreement:

  • Shared Mission: Both institutions aim to nurture students into responsible citizens of faith and integrity, fostering personal growth, learning, and service to others.
  • Seamless Admissions: HFU guarantees admission and a four-year renewable scholarship for NDNJ graduates who enroll full-time within one year of graduating high school.
  • Scholarship Details:
    • Eligibility: Students must maintain a 2.50 GPA (on a 4.00 scale).
    • Minimum Award: $18,000 annually (totaling $72,000 over four years).
    • Maximum Award: $24,000 per year (totaling $96,000). Holy Family's tuition and fees are approximately $35,330 annually.

This partnership is a significant step in furthering our mission to provide high-quality education and support to all our students. We look forward to witnessing their growth and success as they embark on this exciting journey!
