NHS Induction Ceremony

NHS Induction Ceremony

Congratulations! The Notre Dame Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) would like to welcome the 47 new members who were inducted. Our NHS values are represented by four pillars –Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. The new inductees met all the requirements for NHS including a minimum cumulative GPA of 93, performing at least 30 service hours, taking Honors and AP courses, and demonstrating leadership skills.

President Jennings delivered the opening remarks at the induction ceremony and led us in prayer. Our keynote speaker, Mr. John Tattory, president of the ND Board of Governors, spoke to the inductees about all four pillars of NHS and how he values how Notre Dame has shaped his life and that of his children, who are all alumni.

Principal Martinez congratulated the new members and advised them to always consider their values, ethics, and character when making choices. She also gave closing remarks and thanked all those involved in the ceremony. Diego Nunez-Castaneda, NHS President, emceed the evening, along with NHS officers Angela Lansang, Mya Clarke, and Noelle Go who gave speeches on the pillars of NHS.
