Athletic Director Nate Webber has announced that Mr. Michael McQuarrie ‘13 is the new head coach of the Notre Dame Softball program.
The 2025 season will be Coach McQuarrie's 9th season coaching. He began his coaching career at Notre Dame in 2017 as the JV Assistant Softball Coach. After three seasons at Notre Dame, Coach McQuarrie became an Assistant Varsity Softball Coach at Bordentown Regional High School. He spent three seasons coaching softball at Bordentown, his first being the 2020 season. His Bordentown teams went 42-4 from 2021-2022 and were Sectional Finalists in 2021 and Sectional Champions in 2022. For the past two seasons, Coach McQuarrie has been the Head Baseball Coach at Bordentown Regional Middle School, where he has worked as a Guidance Counselor/SAC Counselor for the past six years.
As a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Coach McQuarrie is excited to return home to where his coaching journey began and feels honored to have the opportunity to lead the Notre Dame softball program.
