As we begin the new 2024-25 school year, we would like to welcome our new faculty members to the Notre Dame Family. We look forward to seeing them in the classroom this year and wish them the best of luck.

Daniel Alessi, Ceramics Teacher
Daniel recently obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Alfred University. He has gained a comprehensive knowledge of ceramics equipment and processes skills in hand-building and wheel-thrown forms, and has become an expert in glaze-making.  While attending Alfred University, Daniel attended La Meridiana International School of Ceramics in Florence, Italy. Daniel has a love for traveling and hiking especially near bodies of water.  The beauty of nature inspires his art.

George Black ’99, Health and Physical Education Teacher
The 2024/25 school year will be George’s 20th year as a teacher of Health and Physical Education.  He spent the previous 19 years teaching at Red Bank Catholic High School.  He has also coached soccer for both boys and girls teams in those 19 years.  It has been a dream of his to come home to his Alma Mater and continue his journey as an educator.

Adrienne Deussing, Business Teacher
Adrienne is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. She has a BBA in Accounting. Adrienne worked in public accounting and at a private practice in accounting and tax.

Tim Jones ‘20, Social Studies Department
Tim Jones is an alumnus of Notre Dame High School and a dedicated educator in the Social Studies Department, where he teaches Global Studies and United States History. He recently earned his Bachelor of Arts in History Secondary Education from The College of New Jersey. In addition to his teaching role, Tim is an assistant football coach at Notre Dame.

Shannon King, Broadcast Studio Technician and Film Teacher

Shannon King is Notre Dame's Broadcast Studio Technician and a film production teacher. She graduated from Ithaca College with a BS in Cinema Production in 2023. As Broadcast Technician, she is currently improving the Morning Announcements with the help of a new background and by developing new content alongside the passionate club members of NDTV. She is also a sound designer and mixer for short fiction films and documentaries and enjoys studying linguistics. In her spare time she enjoys many hobbies, such as knitting, playing piano, and, of course, watching movies.

Brianna O’Malley ‘19, Math Teacher
Brianna is an alumni from Notre Dame High School and recently graduated from Rowan University with her B.S in Biological Sciences, a minor in Psychology and an Undergraduate Certification in Forensic Science.  Brianna is teaching Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry.  She has always had a passion for teaching and is excited to return to Notre Dame High School to further her career.

Eva Drennan ‘25 Attends NJ Conference for Women

The New Jersey Conference for Women (NJCFW) is the largest one-day gathering of professional women in the State of New Jersey. On Friday, October 11, 2024, this power-packed conference provided nearly 700 women an opportunity to network with their peers, learn new strategies for professional growth and forge transformative connections with other women in the business community.

Notre Dame Announces New Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach

Athletic Director Nate Webber has announced that Mrs. Beth Ardery '87 Fitzpatrick is the new Head Coach of the Notre Dame Girls Basketball program. Coach Fitzpatrick is thrilled to start working with the ND Girls Basketball program as she feels like she was born into a Notre Dame family.
