EXPERIENCE THE REAL WORLD NOW
Professional technology.
Real-time data. Real-world experience.
Notre Dame is the only high school in the Mercer and Bucks County area with a Bloomberg-powered business lab, giving students access to the same real-time financial data, analytics and technology used by professionals and universities around the world.
Students can research companies and markets, analyze data, build portfolios, assess risk and develop investment strategies – experiences rarely available at the high school level.
Through the Bloomberg Global Trading Challenge, students compete against teams from high schools, colleges, and MBA programs around the world, applying classroom learning in a setting that rewards preparation, judgment, and ethical decision-making.
LEARN FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN THERE
Bring the business world into the classroom.
Through Notre Dame’s Executive-in-Residence program, students learn directly from experienced professionals who bring real-world knowledge, perspective and mentorship to the student experience. Students gain insight into how the concepts they learn in the classroom are applied in the professional world.
BUILD SKILLS BEYOND FINANCE
Learn skills that matter in any career.
The Business Lab turns classroom concepts into hands-on experiences that develop data analysis, research, critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Whether a student’s interests are in finance, entrepreneurship, business, marketing, journalism, government, public policy and communications, these skills can provide a valuable foundation for college and career success.
PREPARE WITH PURPOSE
Professional preparation. Notre Dame values.
At Notre Dame, preparing for the future is more than getting ahead. It means using knowledge, talent and opportunity with purpose and integrity.
The Business Lab connects professional business education with Notre Dame’s Catholic mission and Mercy tradition, helping students understand the importance of ethical decision-making, corporate responsibility and using their gifts to make a difference.
