Academic and Learning Support
As a Mercy School rooted in the ministry of Catherine McAuley, Notre Dame is deeply committed to meeting the needs of all students in their pursuit of learning.
We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all students at all skill levels. Our team, which includes the Learning Needs Coordinator, Guidance Counselors, and teachers, collaborates to identify and address each student's unique learning differences. We offer personalized support, differentiated instruction, and reasonable accommodations tailored to these needs.
We firmly believe that every student has the potential to excel, and our program is designed to turn that belief into reality. Through our distinctive learning support program, we offer an "Orientation Seminar" that emphasizes executive functioning and skill development, covering areas such as study skills, organization, executive functioning skills, and time management. Our program also strongly emphasizes the importance of communication, self-awareness, and self-advocacy, empowering students to take charge of their learning journey.
