  • Family First - A New Tuition Model

    Fixed Tuition for Four Years

    We recognize that a Notre Dame education is a substantial investment in your child's future. Financial need should never discourage a student from applying for admission. Notre Dame President, Ken Jennings, recently announced that the school will introduce a new tuition model. “After a six-month comprehensive evaluation of several tuition models and the needs of our families, the Board of Governors has approved a four-year fixed tuition model to become effective with the 2020-21 school year,” said Jennings.

Notre Dame Merit Scholarship Program, Performing Arts Scholarship and Character and Service Awards:
 
Notre Dame offers seven Academic Merit Scholarships for students applying to the Class of 2024.  In addition, ND will also award one Performing Arts Scholarship to a highly qualified candidate. ND is also pleased to announce new Character and Service Awards.

Merit Scholarships

  • The Fitzpatrick Family Academic Merit Scholarship

    The Fitzpatrick Family Academic Merit Scholarship is a full tuition scholarship offered to one student in the Notre Dame Class of 2024.
    Applicants from the Class of 2024 must complete the following to be considered for either the Fitzpatrick or Liptak Merit Scholarships:
     
    • Student scores of 90 and above on the HSPT or 85 and above on the SSAT must be submitted to the Notre Dame Admissions Office no later than Monday, February 24, 2020.  
    • Student essays written in response to the prompt below is to be submitted to the Admissions Office no later than Monday, February 24, 2020.  They should offer a main idea and support that idea with examples from the student’s life experiences.
    • Student Interviews with Administrators will be conducted with finalists chosen from among those who submit essays. Interviews will be conducted by early March. 
    • Essay Prompt: Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself - John Dewey.
      In no more than 400 words, explain how a Notre Dame education will guide and prepare you for the future. 
    All applicants are eligible and semi-finalists will be invited by Friday, February 14, 2020 to submit an essay .  Essays may be emailed to Mrs. Laura Sarubbi at sarubbi@ndnj.org. Scholarship recipients will be notified by March 16, 2020.
     
  • The Mary Ann Liptak Academic Merit Scholarships

    The Mary Ann Liptak Academic Merit Scholarships offers half tuition to two students in the Notre Dame Class of 2024.
    Applicants from the Class of 2024 must complete the following to be considered for either the Fitzpatrick or Liptak Merit Scholarships:

    The two new President's Merit Scholarships are awards of $5,000 per year for academically qualified 8th grade students who achieve an 85 or above on their HSPT and 80 or above on the SSAT and submit an essay.
    All applicants are eligible and finalists will be invited to submit an essay by February 14, 2020.  Essays may be emailed to Mrs. Laura Sarubbi at sarubbi@ndnj.org. Scholarship recipients will be notified by Monday, March 16, 2020.

  • Principal's Merit Scholarships

    The two new Principal Merit Scholarships are awards of $2,500 per year for academically qualified 8th grade students who achieve an 85 or above on their HSPT and 80 above on SSAT and submit an essay.
    All applicants are eligible and finalists will be invited by February 14, 2020 to submit an essay.  Essays may be emailed to Mrs. Laura Sarubbi at sarubbi@ndnj.org. Scholarship recipients will be notified in writing by Tuesday, March 10, 2020.

    No Interviews are required for the President or Principal Merit Scholarships.
     
  • The Jack Pinto '85 Performing Arts Scholarship

    The new Performing Arts Scholarship, established by Notre Dame alumnus Jack Pinto ‘85, is an annual $5,000 per year scholarship awarded to an 8th grade student of exceptional talent in the performing arts and who wishes to pursue the study of music or dance.

    A video audition will be required for this scholarship.  Please email your submission to PASubmissions@ndnj.org by Friday, February 28, 2020.  Award recipient will be notified by Monday, March 16, 2020.

    Requirements 
    • video may only be taken with an iphone or android
    • submissions must be no longer that 2 minutes and 30 seconds
    • submissions may not be edited in any way
    Submissions not following this criteria will not be considered.
  • Character and Service Awards

    The Character and Service Awards are one time scholarships in the amount of $1,000 for 8th grade students who demonstrate exceptional character and service in their local Catholic elementary schools and community.  A student is nominated by their Catholic School Principal and the final decision made by the Scholarship Committee at Notre Dame.

    Criteria includes:
    • Strong academic standing
    • Demonstrated service in their school, parish and/or community
    • Demonstrated character as witnessed by faculty, staff and administration of school
     
     

2020-2021 Notre Dame High School Tuition

Our tuition rates will be fixed for a four-year period beginning with the incoming freshman Class of 2024. Current families will have their tuition rate fixed through graduation.*

  • Students Registering as Freshmen or Upperclassmen Transfer Students

    • Application Fee — $50
    • Registration Fee — $200
    • Tuition Deposit — One month deposit (10%) total tuition; applied to the total tuition balance, non-refundable
  • FACTS Payment Plan

    All tuition payments are made to FACTS, the accounts receivable company for Notre Dame High School. Families have the option of making a one-time payment in full made directly to Notre Dame High School, or for a $70 administration fee, payments can be made quarterly, semi-annually or monthly to FACTS.
