Counseling Services

The College and School Counseling Office at Notre Dame High School supports students in the areas of college and career exploration, academic achievement, and social/personal development. It promotes self-knowledge and the respect for the rights of others. Counselors are committed to the social, emotional, spiritual, and personal development of every student. Through Notre Dame's comprehensive school counseling program counselors are assigned to assist students throughout all four years of high school. Counselors work collaboratively with the entire faculty to meet the needs of each individual.
Academic Success
Students can expect counselors to provide guidance and promote academic and personal growth, enhance the learning experience, and navigate the college process. Through the scheduling process, counselors will guide students as they identify areas of academic interest and develop a four-year plan to identify courses of study that will appropriately challenge students while appealing to their future goals.
Personal Wellness
Students' health and well-being are paramount to achieving high school success. If challenges arise in a student or family's life, counselors work to provide support and resources to traverse the school day and foster positive personal growth.
In the College and School Counseling office, our doors are always open. We invite students and parents to reach out to a counselor with any questions or concerns.
