Sandra Persichetti ’61

Ms. Persichetti was inspired to leave a planned gift to Notre Dame because she believes that without the foundation of her business education at ND, she would not have gone on to become one of the first female real estate developers in the state of New Jersey.
“Notre Dame was founded in 1957 with just one class of freshmen. New freshmen were added each year in those first four years, so the Class of 1961 was always considered the upper classmen.  As a result, I believe this honor created a class of leaders.  As a student, I was drawn to the business education department.  One teacher in particular, Sr. Eloise, sparked a work ethic that carried me ‘up the ladder’ in various businesses right up to starting my own real estate development company.”
Ms. Persichetti was inspired to leave a planned gift to Notre Dame because she believes that without the foundation of her business education at ND, she would not have gone on to become one of the first female real estate developers in the state of New Jersey.  No stranger to philanthropy, in addition to her decades of work as a real estate executive, Ms. Persichetti also has extensive experience working with various not-for-profit corporations, both as a Trustee and as a paid employee.  “I was blessed with parents who gave of themselves whenever they saw a need. That upbringing, and the education I received at ND that resulted in some financial success, is what makes me want to support Notre Dame and its impact on future students.”
“I would encourage donors to consider a planned gift in support of Notre Dame High School. Leaving a bequest in your will or naming ND as a beneficiary to your IRA or 401(k) plan account are just a few of the investment vehicles that can be used to show your support and gratitude."
