Sixteen ND Juniors to Attend Boys State

Held at Rider University each year beginning on Father's Day, the American Legion Jersey Boys State (ALJBS) has a strong tradition of education, patriotism and excellence in the development of tomorrow's leaders at the week-long, hands-on program. This year, 16 Notre Dame students will attend Boys State on June 16-21.
The mission of Boys State is “…to develop good citizens in the United States of America by inspiring the youth of New Jersey to take a more active and intelligent interest in the operation of our State and Nation and in the privileges and responsibilities of citizenship and to understand the sacrifices made by our veterans to preserve our nation and way of life.”
Notre Dame is proud to have 16 members of the Class of 2020 attending this year’s Boys State.
