Coach McKenna and Fr. Parzynski Appointed to Positions in Diocesan CAC
Notre Dame High School is proud to announce Bishop David M. O'Connell, C.M. appointed our own Coach John McKenna as the new Diocesan Moderator for Catholic Athletes for Christ (CAC). In addition, he appointed our chaplain, Fr. Jason Parzynski, as the new Diocesan Chaplain for CAC.
Catholic Athletes for Christ was brought to the Diocese by Bishop O'Connell nine years ago and has currently established chapters in seven of the 11 Catholic High Schools in the Diocese of Trenton. It is a tremendous honor for Notre Dame to have both Coach McKenna and Fr. Jason appointed to serve in this capacity as they both continue to not only build the CAC ministry at Notre Dame, but also now across the diocese in order to foster a deeper faith life among our student athletes on and off the field here at ND and throughout the diocese.
Located on 100 beautiful acres in Central New Jersey, Notre Dame High School, founded in 1957, is a college preparatory school for grades 9 - 12, preparing young men and women for lives of purpose, built upon a foundation of Catholic faith, with a commitment to academics, co-curricular activities and service to others.
