ND Welcomes New Faculty Members

Notre Dame would like to welcome our new faculty members! We are so excited to have them as a part of our ND family:
John Bennett – Math Teacher
Mr. John Bennett is a new member of the Math Department and will be teaching Algebra 1 and Geometry.  Mr. Bennett has a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Monmouth University and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix. He is excited to learn from his colleagues and students in order to provide the best education to our ND students. 
Rena Dziopa – Science Teacher
Ms. Rena Dziopa. Joins the Science Department. She will teach both Biology and Chemistry this semester. Before coming to Notre Dame, Ms. Dziopa was the Biology teacher at Immaculate Conception High School in Montclair. She graduated from Drew University where she majored in both Biology and Spanish. Ms. Dziopa also has a Master’s Degree in Science Education from Columbia University. She is “super excited” to be working at Notre Dame!!
Adam Fisher – French Teacher
Mr. Adam Fisher joins the World Language Department as the new French teacher. Mr. Fisher attended Middlebury College where he received his B.A. in International and Global Studies with a concentration in Francophone Africa. His love and knowledge for the French language can be attributed to time spent studying and working in Yaoundé, Cameroon and Paris, France. Most recently, he taught English as a foreign language to French Middle School students in Paris. Mr. Fisher is excited to share his passion for French and teaching with the Notre Dame community. He hopes to inspire a diligent study of foreign language and the many amazing opportunities that come from it.
Andrew GoyerReligion Teacher & Co-Moderator of Peer Leadership
Mr. Andrew Goyer joins the faculty of the Religion Department and will also be Co-Moderator of the Peer Leadership Program. A New Jersey native, Mr. Goyer attended St. Joseph High School before heading to Providence College where he studied Theology and Music.  After graduating from Providence College, Mr. Goyer attended Villanova University and obtained a Master's Degree in Theology and Ministry, all the while facilitating undergraduate retreats, service opportunities, and faith-formation events in Villanova's Campus Ministry. He is excited to join the Notre Dame Community. Go Irish!
Ellieen Ingbritsen, Ed.D. – Service Coordinator and Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator
Dr. Ellieen Ingbritsen is a native of Red Bank, New Jersey and a proud graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School. She recently retired from serving in public education since 1980. In addition to her work as an educator, she served as the Director of the Office of Black Apostolate and Secretary for Ethnic Ministries for the Diocese of Trenton, was a member of the Mercer County Board of the CYO, and trustee for Sacred Heart Church. She is a distinguished alumna of the College of Saint Elizabeth (now Saint Elizabeth University). Ms. Ingbritsen also holds a Master’s Degree from Rider University and a Doctorate from Holy Family University.
Mona McCauley - English Department Chairperson
Ms. Mona McCauley is the new Chairperson for the English Department. Ms. McCauley graduated with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in English Literature from Rutgers University. She has been an educator in New Jersey, Ohio and Kuwait over the past 8 years. She is passionate about literature, all learners, educational leadership and her family.
Jack Suss, Ph.D. – Science Teacher
Mr. Jack Suss joins the Science Department and will teach Anatomy and Physiology. Mr. Suss is formally trained as a scientist, having researched physiology and ecology of sea turtles. He also taught many science courses at the college level as well as Business and Design courses. More recently, he focused on student engagement pedagogy strategies, including publishing a classroom game. Mr. Suss is excited to lend his knowledge of college education to help prepare Notre Dame students for their future. He previously worked as an Assistant Teaching Professor at Thomas Jefferson University and received my Ph.D. from Drexel University.
Rolf Andersen, Ph.D. – Science Teacher
Mr. Rolf Anderson joins the Science Department and will teach Chemistry. He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Aarhus, Denmark and his M.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He previously taught Chemistry at Stockton University, Rowan University, and Egg Harbor Township High School. He is excited to join the Notre Dame community.

Notre Dame is also proud to announce the promotion of Mrs. Rebecca Magro to Director of College and School Counseling. We would also like to welcome Ms. Doreen Nicosia, a new member of the Main Office staff and Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Principals. Best of luck to all in their new positions!
