ND Presents All I Really Need To Know I Learned in Kindergarten

The Notre Dame Performing Arts Department is excited to announce that the spring production this year will be All I Really Need To Know I Learned in Kindergarten, directed by Ms. Diane Wargo.
Based on Robert Fulghum’s 1989 best-selling book, Kindergarten takes a funny, insightful, heartwarming look at what is profound in everyday life. The lessons learned in the college classroom gives a wealth of information however the life lessons learned on the playground instills the wisdom for living.  It’s an evening of theatrical storytelling enhanced through the use of live piano with original songs. The delightful stories feature colorful characters such as: a shy child who insists on playing the “pig” in the class production of Cinderella and steals the show; a man whose dream of flying carries him high over Los Angeles in a lawn chair buoyed by weather balloons; and a modern-day Greek philosopher who finds the meaning of life in a piece of broken mirror from World War II. These stories celebrate our very existence, from the whimsy of childhood to the wisdom of old age.  Hop on the merry go round for the ride of your life!
