Candle Rose Ceremony 2023

Candle Rose Ceremony 2023

By: Elizabeth Holland, Senior Communications Intern

As we approach the end of the school year, Notre Dame acknowledges the changing of student-held leadership positions with our annual Candle Rose Ceremony.

In keeping with tradition, the senior student leaders of clubs, athletics, service, performing arts, campus ministry, peer leadership, publications, and National Honor Society all passed candles to juniors taking their positions as a presentation of leadership change. The seniors pass down the light of leadership and receive a rose of gratitude for all of their hard work and dedication to the Notre Dame community.

Notre Dame thanks the Class of 2023 student leaders for a great school year, we are so proud of you! We send our blessings and good wishes to the underclass leaders who will carry on the light of leadership. We can’t wait to see what you will accomplish on your next journey. Congratulations to all!
