Celebrating Easter Liturgy and Confirmation

The Notre Dame community celebrated Easter Liturgy and was blessed to witness the Confirmation of five students during the mass. We were so happy that they chose to continue their faith-filled journey here at Notre Dame as candidates in the RCIA program. The acronym stands for the Rite of Christain Initiation of Adults and serves as a welcoming organization for those who desire to enter into a faith-filled community with the church. We have been blessed to be able to implement the RCIA process and Confirmation preparation at Notre Dame High School. All of the students had already received the sacraments of Baptism and the Eucharist.

The five students, Matthew Savage ‘23, Ryan Carr ‘23, Diego Mendez ‘24, Kihrah Boyer ‘24 and Kayla Cizmar ‘25, were confirmed by ND Chaplain, Father Jason Parzynski. Father Jason, along with Mrs. Janine Corgan and Mrs. Eileen Hart worked closely with these students to prepare them for this special event. On April 7, the students participated in a full-day retreat guided by student facilitators Aidan McGovern ‘23 and Giacomo Rosati ‘23, to mentally and spiritually prepare themselves.

Their families and sponsors joined us for the beautiful liturgy. Congratulations to all the students and we will continue to pray for them on their faith journey.

Mrs. Palazza's Restaurant Project

Mrs. Palazzo’s Honors US II class was given the opportunity to re-create a restaurant that could have existed during the Depression era of US History.

Hoops For Hope 2022

The Notre Dame gymnasium was filled with life, laughter, and cheer on Wednesday, April 27. This year marked the 4th Hoops for Hope after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, and the ND students showed their excitement to have it back.
