The Notre Dame Dance Performance, Dance Intermediate, and Dance Classes presented Fusion ‘23 this Saturday in the McLeod Theatre. The show was directed and choreographed by Mrs. Debby Gibilisco with Mrs. Lauren Haugen.

The evening ran smoothly with help from Mr. David Chebra as Technical Director, Midnight Productions as Lighting Designer, Sonia Jaime Cavanagh as Light Board Operator, Matthew Savage and Colin Treacy as Spot Operators, and Gavin Ulrich as Sound Board Operator. 

Congratulations to the following dancers on another successful show!

Dance Performance: Regan Blessing, Sophia Cramer, Vanessa Delbridge, Liliana Hindy, Callie Okamura, Emma Sabo, Kyla Spruill, Ava Sulkowski, and Captains Lacey Okamura and Kayla Smith.

The Notre Dame Diversity Mass

We gathered to celebrate our annual Mass for Diversity on January 31. Father Jason Parzynski celebrated the liturgy assisted by Deacon Dr. Curtis Turner, Head of School for Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland, who was also our guest homilist.

Mock Trial Competition, Academics

The Notre Dame Mock Trial Team competed on Saturday, January 28th in the Mercer County Mock Trial Competition. Both public and private schools participated in this event.

Semester Ends with Student Projects    

A semester of learning culminated in final projects presented by Notre Dame students. Mrs. Guy's Physical Computing and Robotics Class held a Physical Computing Showcase, Mrs. Houghton's Entrepreneurship Class held a grand opening for student-created businesses, Dr. Ingbritsen's Honors 4 Religion/Service Class experienced a Passover Seder meal and Ms. Wargo's Acting Class presented 30 Minutes of Chaos. 

Podcasting in Journalism

Mrs. Cindy Bannon, an English department faculty member, recently made some technology upgrades to her Journalism classroom. She has been working tirelessly to create an atmosphere where she can incorporate instructional media into her students' everyday lessons.

Meeting the Professionals

Mr. Aaron Bartuska’s Film Production classes had the pleasure of hosting three industry professionals this past week who came to speak about their experiences in the world of film. The expertise and knowledge they shared gave students an inside look at the industry.
