National Honor Society Induction

Congratulations!  The Notre Dame Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) would like to welcome the 47 new members who were inducted this week. Our NHS values are represented by four pillars –Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.  The new inductees met all the requirements for NHS including a minimum cumulative GPA of 93, performing at least 30 service hours, taking Honors and AP courses and demonstrating leadership skills.

At the induction ceremony, Mr. Jennings, ND President, shared opening remarks and led us in prayer. Our keynote speaker, Mr. Dick Smith,  Chair of the Board of Governors at ND, spoke to the inductees about the four pillars of NHS, the external benefits of being in NHS, NHS leadership at Notre Dame, and finally highlighted newly inducted NHS member Madison Reda ‘24, speaking at the National Catholic Youth Conference in Long Beach, CA. Mrs. Barlow, ND Principal, congratulated the new members and gave closing remarks while giving thanks to everyone involved in the ceremony. Caroline Aloisio, NHS President emceed the evening and speeches on the four pillars of NHS were given by NHS officers Caroline Aloisio, Isabella Kozar, Lacey Okamura, and Ryan Rauscher.

Madison Reda ’24 Presents at NCYC

Madison Reda, a junior at Notre Dame High School, has many reasons to be proud. She is active in Peer Leadership, as a Student Ambassador, and as vice president of Photography Club. But, in addition to her notable contributions here at Notre Dame, Madison recently had the amazing opportunity to speak at the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) in Long Beach, California.

Coach Perone Field Dedication and Alumni Soccer Game

Notre Dame High School dedicated our brand new turf soccer field to long-time, beloved soccer coach, Mike Perone on Wednesday, November 23. Over 200 alumni and guests attended the ceremony at the field.  

Thanksgiving Food Drive

The annual Notre Dame Thanksgiving Day Food Drive was a great success this year. Students collected over 2,400 items to donate to the Mount Carmel Guild.
