How to Apply

Class of 2022 and Transfers for 2018-19

Notre Dame accepts the Standard Application Online, administered through the Enrollment Management Association. You will find the application link in the blue box to the right.

There are two ways to apply:
Early Decision: We are excited to offer an Early Decision option for our families!  Submit your application by October 20 and you will receive an admission decision by December 15. Tuition deposit and registration fee will be due by Friday, January 5. Students applying Early Decision for the Class of 2022 must take the HSPT on October 21 and interview with Admissions staff by October 31.  Transcripts and Letters of Recommendation must be received by December 1.

Regular Admissions: Submit your application by January 31 with an admission decision by March 9.  All students must take the HSPT on February 3 or submit their SSAT scores to Notre Dame by January 31.  Tuition deposit and registration fee will be due on March 21.

In order to guarantee a place at Notre Dame, and to ensure availability of courses, all accepted students must register on March 21.

The following information will be required for all applicants:

1. Standard Application Online (SAO)
Submit an online application and non-refundable $50 fee. This fee is waived for the children of alumni. Please contact the Enrollment Management Office after September 1 to obtain a waiver code.  Additionally, all academic records and teacher recommendations must be uploaded to this site.

2. Placement Test:  Please register here.
All prospective students are required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) which will be administered at Notre Dame High School.  For those students applying to independent schools and taking the SSAT, we are happy to accept the SSAT in lieu of the HSPT.  Notre Dame will be listed on the SSAT application for you to select and automatically send us your test scores.  The HSPT will be offered at Notre Dame on Saturday, October 21 for Early Decision students, and Saturday, February 3 for Regular Admission students. Please note the December 16 HSPT was moved to February 3.  There will no longer be a test on December 16.

3. Interview
All prospective students and their parent(s)/guardian(s) are required to meet with a member of the Admissions Committee for an interview. Please click here to view our online scheduler. Available dates and times will be listed.
