STEPS TO APPLY

Thank you for your interest in Notre Dame High School!

TO APPLY FOR THE UPCOMING 2017-18 SCHOOL YEAR: please complete the online application and submit all applicant forms to your child's current school, both located on the right of this page. There is limited availability in grades 9, 10, and 11.


CLASS OF 2022 and PROSPECTIVE 2018-19 TRANFERS:

We look forward to getting you know you in the fall!  There will be many opportunities for you to come to campus and meet faculty, students, and administrators.  This year, we will be using the Standard Online Application, administered through the Enrollment Management Association, which will be available on August 21st.  Check back after that date to begin the application process!  Please view our calendar for a listing of Admissions Events

There are two ways to apply:

Early Action: We are excited to offer an Early Action option for our families!  Submit your application by October 20th and you will receive an admission decision by December 15th.  Students applying Early Action for the Class of 2022 must take the HSPT on October 14th and interview with Admissions staff by October 31st.

Regular Application: We look forward to receiving your application by January 31st with and admission decision by March 9th.  All students must take the HSPT on December 16 or submit their SSAT scores to Notre Dame by January 31st.
 
In order to guarantee a place at Notre Dame, and to ensure availability of courses, all accepted students my register on March 21st.
 

The following information will be required for all applicants:

1. Standard Online Application (SAO)
Submit an online application and non-refundable $50 fee. This fee is waived for the children of alumni. Please contact the Enrollment Management Office after August 15th to obtain a waiver code.  Additionally, all academic records and teacher recommendations will be uploaded to this site.  More information will be available on this page in the beginning of August.

2. Placement Test
All prospective students are required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) which wil be administered at Notre Dame High School.  For those students applying to independent schools and taking the SSAT, we are happy to accept the SSAT in lieu of the HSPT.  Notre Dame will be listed on the SSAT application for you to select and automatically send us your test scores.

3. Interview
All prospective students and their parent(s)/guardian(s) are required to meet with the Director or Associate Director of Enrollment Management for an interview.  Online registration will be available after August 1st.
 
Notification of Admission Decision
Decisions will be based upon the enrollment availability and "fit" between the school and the applicant. Notre Dame High School welcomes applicants from a wide variety of backgrounds and does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, religion, national or ethnic origin in its admission or administrative policies.

Applicant Forms

Everyone must submit a Recommendation Form and a Mathematics Placement Form. Everyone must submit a Transcript Release Form to their current school.

Students wishing to enroll for Learning Needs or for Honors English or Honors World History must submit those forms as well.
