Joanna Barlow

Joanna Barlow is the Principal at Notre Dame High School. Prior to her position as Principal, Mrs. Barlow was the Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction at ND for seven years. Over the past seven years, she has been able to bring teachers and department heads together to refine curriculum and assessments and implement new courses. She created an online curriculum portal where all curricula are digitally accessible for the teachers. Mrs. Barlow holds a M.A. in Educational leadership from Seton Hall University. She began her career as a high school English teacher. After 10 years in the classroom, she became an English Department Chairperson. She served as the Chairperson of the AdvancED Leadership Team for Notre Dame High School. Mrs. Barlow holds certifications as an elementary school teacher, high school English teacher, a supervisor, and a principal. She and her husband have two children - her daughter is an ND graduate and her son is a freshman.
