Strength and Spirit: Investing in Notre Dame

    • Support Now

A Legacy of Strength and Spirit

For the past 60 years, Notre Dame High School has been there to influence the strength and spirit of more than 17,000 young women and men, sending them out into the world to become productive and positive future leaders and contributors to society. And we continue to do this today with our 1,100 enrolled students, equipping them with minds that are open and hearts that are hopeful.

Faith. Service. Community. Integrity. Grit.
In the classroom, on stage and on the playing field, we engage each student's mind, heart, body and spirit to know and love God, to embrace the critical values of our faith and to realize his or her full potential. Simply stated, we transform lives. That is and always has been our mission. It is the reason for our existence. It is the mark of our success. It is why we must continue to thrive and grow now and for the next 60 years.

An Opportunity to Invest in Notre Dame's Legacy

Notre Dame High School is calling upon you - our community, our family. Since our beginning, you, the dedicated members of our school community, have consistantly demonstrated your enthusiam and generosity when it comes to supporting the school that you know and love.

Over the past few years, we have made many necessary infrastructure updates to our campus. We have made changes as needs arose, adding where there was space. Within the limits of our existing footprint and available resources, we've done what we can do. Now, we need to do more.
It's simple.

Our students need facilities that adequately support the mission. Their teachers and coaches need tools that will enable them to better facilitate the learning process. We have designed a comprehensive master site plan to consider our most pressing needs in a holistic manner. We now invite you to invest in the initial phase of that plan.

We are good at what we do. Notre Dame is poised to become the number one high school of choice in the region for people of faith.  But to get there, we need your help.

Phase One: The Auditorium Renovation

Our auditorium has always been the central gathering space for us as a community. It is our front door: the first place our students come for Open House and orientation and the last place they gather for their Baccalaureate Mass. It is the home of our monthly liturgies, awards assemblies and the showcase for our fabled Performing Arts Programs, which attract thousands of appreciative audience members each year.

The ND auditorium is a wonderful space with one of the largest stages and greatest seating capacities in the region. However, it was built without air conditioning and can no longer accommodate the needs of our expanded Performing Arts offerings. It has not been expanded or remodeled since it was built 60 years ago. Phase One of our campaign will change all that.

The Time is Now

Your participation in the Strength and Spirit campaign will help ensure Notre Dame's legacy. Please join us by investing in current and future students. The ultimate success of this effort depends on your support.

Future Fundraising Priorities

The completion of Phase One will be followed by additional improvements to the campus that have been identified in our master site plan. These will include a renovated and expanded library, a state-of-the-art athletic field house and additional academic spaces that will provide our community with what it deserves: a place to learn, grow, practice and compete that accurately reflects the high quality of our program and campus that will carry us into our future.

Judy Paul '66 and Maria Paul '69

"Notre Dame has been so important to us on so many levels. The education we received, the life lessons we learned, the friendships we made there were all building blocks of a life well lived for us.

We know that today's students can count on a great education at NDHS. But we would like to ensure that they will receive it with the most up-to-date resources we can help provide, and that what goes on there will continue into the future. Committing to the Strength + Spirit campaign is committing to the Notre Dame legacy."
