Information Gathering

We may use your IP (Internet Protocol) address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our web site by identifying (1) which parts of our site are most heavily used and (2) which portion of our audience comes from within the Notre Dame High School network. We do not link IP addresses to any individually identifiable information. This means that user sessions may be tracked, but the users will remain anonymous.

Use of Information

The School uses the information gathered above to tailor site content to user needs and to generate aggregate statistical reports. At no time do we disclose site usage by individual IP addresses, though our web site is hosted by a third party provider which has access to the web site and the IP addresses of those who use it.

The Notre Dame High School web site contains links to other web sites not affiliated with the school. Notre Dame High School is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites, and encourages you to read the privacy statements of those other web sites.

There is a way to control who sees your personal information on the website without deleting important details that school personnel need for the mailing and emailing of critical information to our families. Here are the steps to follow if you want to control who sees your Profile information beyond the default settings that are already in place: • Log into the ND website. • Click on MY PROFILE in the left menu bar. • At the bottom of the Profile page left column, click on Select information to be published in the online community. • Under PUBLISH OPTIONS, Keep the radio button checked that reads Include my name and only the specific information selected below to those specific constituent types. • Under PUBLISH INFORMATION, click on the various roles to see what that person can currently see. • If you want to uncheck an item, under Personal Information, such as a phone number, or check an item to allow it to be viewed by that role, click EDIT at the top right, check or uncheck the items that you wish to change, and then click SAVE at the top right. This preserves all of your important information that ND needs to have to keep active the communication to you and your children.
